A manufacturer can't cancel your whole warranty just because your car has been remapped, but they can decline to cover a fault directly caused by the remap. We're upfront about that trade-off before we tune anything, and we keep your original file so your car can be put back to standard.
Yes. A remap counts as a modification, and not declaring it can put a future claim at risk. We can give you documentation confirming the work so your insurer has what they need.
